Order Fulfillment
Orders will be processed within 2 business days. Orders placed on Friday through Sunday will ship the following week. As soon as your package ships, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with a tracking number for your shipment.
Free Shipping
Any domestic order of $60 or more qualifies for complimentary shipping. Most parcels ship via USPS Ground Advantage. Free shipping does not apply to international orders.
Domestic Shipping Methods
Shipping charges will be automatically calculated during checkout, prior to the completion of your order.
Standard: The standard shipping rate for orders under $60 is a flat rate of $7.00. Standard shipments are sent via USPS Ground Advantage. Orders are usually received within 3-7 business days.
Priority Mail Express: Express shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of the package and the destination. Express shipments are sent via USPS Priority Mail Express. Orders are usually received within 1-2 business days.
Please note that delivery times exclude Sundays and holidays.
Store Pickup
For local customers, free store pickup is available at our Albuquerque tea boutique. Simply complete your order online and select Pickup as your delivery method during checkout. Most orders are ready for pickup in 1 business day. Once your order is complete, we will send an email notification with pickup instructions. Please bring your order confirmation email to pick up your order during store business hours.
International Orders
Canada: Shipments to Canada are via either USPS First Class Package International (delivery within 6 - 21 days) or USPS Priority Mail International (delivery within 6 - 10 days). Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of the package and the destination.
Other International: All other international shipments are via USPS Priority Mail International (delivery within 6 -12 days). Shipping rates are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of the package and the destination.
International orders may incur additional customs charges upon delivery. Check with your local carrier for information on customs charges.
Return Policy
We take great care in sourcing our teas and tea ware and want you to be happy with your purchase.
Incorrect or Damaged Items: If you received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact us immediately so that we can resolve the problem.
Tea Ware: Items can be returned for store credit (minus the cost of return shipping) within 30 days of your delivery date. Returned items must be unused and in the original packaging. Your return will be processed upon receipt of your package. We do not offer refunds, store credit or exchanges for items returned after 30 days of your delivery date.
Tea: For food safety, we cannot accept returns of tea. If a tea is not to your personal taste but is not defective, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges. We recommend purchasing a smaller amount to taste before committing to a larger purchase. Sample sizes of all teas are available to purchase. Please note that seasonal variation is natural in agricultural products like tea, and flavor differences may occur from harvest to harvest.
If there is a problem with the tea you received, please contact us. You may be asked to provide your order number, photos, and product details to help us evaluate your request.
Please note the following:
- All return shipping charges will be paid by the customer unless items were damaged upon arrival.
- Original and return shipping charges cannot be refunded unless the return was due to our error.
- We recommend shipping your return via a trackable service such as USPS Ground Advantage and retain your receipt. We are not responsible for returned items damaged or lost in transit.
All claims are reviewed case by case, and The Fragrant Leaf reserves the right to deny requests in instances of insufficient documentation, suspected misuse, or fraud.
