Dragon Well (Long Jing) green tea is considered one of China's 10 famous teas. Our 2025 spring harvest Dragon Well Reserve Grade is a top-grade, pre-Qing Ming Dragon Well tea harvested near Hangzhou, the traditional terroir for Dragon Well. It is handcrafted by the Zhou family, who has been crafting Dragon Well for at least 3 generations.
Harvested in mid-March before Qing Ming, only a single bud and one leaf are picked, a style that is known as Qi Chiang (Flagged Spear). A meticulous pan-firing and rolling results in uniformly shaped flat, jade-green leaves with a soft floral aroma. The taste is clean, crisp and mellow with hints of roasted soybean and chestnut. The finish is lightly sweet and long lasting.
