White Peony (Bai Mu Dan) is a traditional style of white tea originating from China. Our White Peony is a high grade, harvested in mid-April 2024 from a picking of one bud and one leaf and carefully handcrafted by the Zhong family.
White Peony has a fresh floral aroma with a hint of sundried hay. The taste is soft yet flavorful with a light sweetness reminiscent of wildflower honey and almond nougat.

Brewing Guide
Use 3 g (2 heaping tbsp.) per 6 oz (175ml) of water. Heat water to185º F. Let steep 2-3 minutes. White Peony can yield 4-5 infusions. Adjust amount of leaf, brewing time and water temperature according to your personal preference.
