Made from early spring harvested leaves and tender stems, Kukicha is a fragrant and flavorful tea with a fresh, savory taste and sweet, mellow finish. Known as "twig tea", our Kukicha Supreme uses only the higher-grade stems from the manufacture of sencha.
Lower in caffeine than many green teas, Kukicha is highly recommended with meals and as a light and refreshing evening tea.

Brewing Guide
Use 2 g (1 tsp.) per 6 oz (175ml) of water. Heat water to 175º F. Let steep 2 minutes. Japanese green teas can usually yield 3 infusions. Adjust amount of leaf, brewing time and water temperature according to your personal preference.
