Gold Peony (Jin Mu Dan) is a handcrafted black tea from Fujian, made from an early spring picking of one bud and one leaf. It is crafted from the Jin Mu Dan cultivar that is typically processed into an oolong tea. The result of combining an oolong tea cultivar with traditional black tea processing is a unique cup with a light floral and nectar aroma and a complex taste with notes of sweet stone fruits and dark chocolate. The finish is smooth and long lasting.
