A traditional favorite in Japan, Genmaicha is a blend of steamed green tea and roasted rice. Also known as "brown rice tea", Genmaicha is refreshing and comforting with a toasty aroma and a nutty taste. Lower in caffeine than other green teas, Genmaicha is especially good with light foods and after meals. It also makes a very delicious breakfast tea.
